Supplied Solutions is very glad to announce that Moxa DA-681-I-DPP-T is the world's first IEC 61850-3 certified rackmount computer. World-renowned CPU manufacturer, Intel, impressed with Moxa embedded computers, which offer uninterrupted and reliable embedded systems, even under harsh environmental conditions, paid us a visit. Intel are interested in our techniques and are curious as to how Moxa embedded computers ensure such a high level of power substation reliability and most importantly how we passed IEC 61850-3 substation certification—the first embedded computer in the world to do so. We have developed a white paper which examines current IEC 61850 trends, and we share the challenges of passing IEC 61850-3 and the technology we used to overcome them.
