Supplied Solutions and Moxa are pleased to introduce the PTC-101, a new series of IEC 61850-3 and EN50155 compliant Ethernet-to-fiber media converters. The PTC-101 converts from 10/100BaseTX to 100BaseFX(SC/ST/LC). Designed for industrial reliability, the PTC-101 series meets critical EMC, shock, vibration, and environmental requirements in compliance with IEC 61850-3 and EN50155 standards, which are essential requirements for electronic equipment operating in demanding power and transportation applications such as substation and rolling stock deployments.

Tailored for ease of use, the PTC-101 series integrates highly reliable power supplies that eliminate the need for an external power transformer. For additional convenience, a hassle-saving power adaptor with selectable high and low voltage for HV and LV models is included. For heightened security, the PTC-101 LV series features redundant power inputs and power failure alarms by relay output to ensure continuous operations through power interruptions.

The PTC-101 series of double-certified IEC 61850-3 and EN50155 converters set new standards in cost-effectiveness, reliability, and versatility with wide temperature models that operate comfortably between -40 to 85°C, creating a most rugged solution for industrial Ethernet applications in power and transportation.
