Release Date : 2011-11-02

Moxa and Supplied Solutions are very pleased to announce that the V2616 EN 50155-certified railway NVR computers are ready to roll. The V2616 series high performance embedded computers are EN 50155 certified and based on the Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 x86 processor. The computers support 3 SATA-150 connectors for hard drive disk expansion (1 built-in and 2 removable storage trays for 2.5” SSDs or HDDs), and the patented HD bracket protects both the HDD and SSD from vibration and shock. Detailed product features can be found on Moxa’s website at http://www.moxa.com/Event/Sys/2011/V2616/index.htm.

The CompactFlash socket and the internal SATA II storage tray provide the V2616 computers with the reliability needed for industrial applications that require data buffering and storage expansion. Most importantly, the V2616 computers come with 2 removable storage trays for inserting additional storage media, such as hard disks or SSD drives.

EN50155 Certified
EN 50155 certification specifies standards for the operation, design, construction, and testing of electronic equipment used on rail vehicles and in railway applications. Moxa’s railway series computers are EN 50155 certified and undergo environmental testing to ensure reliable performance under a variety of power supply conditions, such as voltage variations, power interruptions, and supply changeovers. The computers can also withstand environmental disturbances, including vibration, shock, and temperature variations.

Rcore Ready-to-Run Embedded Software Platform
All of Moxa's embedded computers come with the operating system pre-installed. In addition, BIOS, middleware, sample code, and tools are provided to give programmers a user-friendly environment for application development, essentially minimizing the effort for system integration.
